Mounts
C-more RTS/STS mounting standard is almost exclusively featured on open reflex red dot sights of Japanese origin. There are two shallow sockets between the front and the middle section of the mounting surface, and two screw holes between the rear and the middle section. Once the sight is paired with an adapter, the screws are put into place from above, through the housing of the red dot sight.
Because of the position of the sockets in which the recoil-stopping pins on the adapter fit, the battery compartment of the sight that features this mounting surface is never at the bottom. C-more was the first company to produce a red dot sight with this mounting standard.

Some optic-ready pistols are designed to be used in combination with a red dot sight that has the C-more RTS/STS mounting standard.
Most C-more RTS/STS mounts are made from aluminium. They are produced by C-more, EGW, Tony System, and others.
