The name is associated with Francis Marion, a military officer who fought in the American Revolutionary War and was nicknamed Swamp Fox. The names of the company's products are also inspired by American history. Swampfox strives to provide value for money, and for now, they have been most successful in the field of red dot sights. Their products, such as this red dot sight, are made in a factory in China.

Swampfox Kingslayer 1x22’s modern looks and angled cuts set it apart from its rival products, as it is a low-profile design that many shooters see fit.

The product feels robust, the frame around the lens is remarkably solid but not too thick, and the Swampfox Kingslayer's body is built from 6061 aluminum alloy.

The lightweight aluminum body is well balanced and provides a secure grip. The Swampfox Kingslayer is great red dot sight with an affordable price tag. It has plenty of useful features that shooters look for in an open reflex sight.

Optics

The sight operates at 1x magnification, so the user can easily use it with both eyes open. The glass is fully multicoated to provide a clear, bright image. It also has an anti-glare lens coating which does its job flawlessly. There is some blue tint at the upper part of the field of view however, the user will not be bothered by that while utilizing the product.

Illumination

When it comes to the illumination on Kingslayer, there are several choices available. The user can decide between green and red illumination models. The consumer has an option of deciding between either a 3 MOA central dot reticle or a circle dot which consists of a 3 MOA dot surrounded by a 65 MOA circle.

There are 10 levels of illumination available, and the user itself controls the intensity with two buttons on the side. The buttons seem durable and provide crisp clicks. The dot can be used in all lighting conditions, with strong daytime brightness included.

To power on the illumination, the “UP” button needs to be pressed. To turn it off, the “DOWN” button needs to be pressed for 3 seconds. Swampfox Kingslayer turns off automatically after 4 hours of inactivity to preserve battery life.
