Like a large window, the massive 54mm objective lenses on this Victory RF is able to capture more light. This in combination with the exceptional quality glass and anti-reflection coatings ensures that as much of this captured light is delivered to your eyes, for the brightest possible views. The result is a fairly high power, a low light performer that is ideal for hunters who often hunt at twilight and who need a little more reach on their optics than an 8x binocular can provide. Should you wear eyeglasses and want to keep using them whilst looking through your instrument, the 14mm of eye-relief you get on this model may be sufficient. However, to be completely sure, the 10x42 Victory RF with it’s 17mm may be a better choice.
Made in Germany and combining the very high-level optics and build quality of the top of the range Zeiss Victory HT with an extremely high-performance laser rangefinder, the Zeiss Victory RF is a top of the range series specifically designed for hunters. They are available in either 8x or 10x powers with a choice of standard sized 42mm lenses or large 54mm versions that are designed to perform in extremely low light settings.
This very high precision instrument is protected by a robust and lightweight magnesium alloy chassis. It has a double-link bridge design that further adds to its strength, but at the same time makes for a very ergonomic shape that is both secure and comfortable to hold onto.
Nitrogen filled, these binoculars are both fog proof and 100% waterproof. Indeed they will remain watertight at a depth of 4 meters for 2 hours.
Twist-up eyecups, a good level of eye-relief and diopter correction ensure that they can be calibrated to your preferences and vision.
With a maximum range of 2300 meters, there is no denying that the rangefinder on the Victory RF is powerful. However, it is also very accurate and can factor in the temperature, air pressure and your ballistics for up to nine different profiles. All this computation takes less than 0.3 of a second and you are presented with all the information you need to take the most accurate shot possible. What's more, the LED display automatically adjusts in brightness depending on ambient light conditions and you can change settings like going from the scan, to target modes with either hand, leaving the other free to hold onto your weapon.
Using very high transmission glass containing Fluoride, the optics on the Zeiss Victory RF binoculars are fully multi-coated with their proprietary ZEISS T* material for maximum light capture, transference an overall image quality.
High-quality Abbe-König prisms are used and the lenses contain fluoride (FL) which are able to reduce a number of aberrations and thus improves colour correction and image sharpness compared to many other lens types used on binoculars.
The outer lenses have the Carl Zeiss LotuTec coatings added to them which are Hydrophobic and thus repel water, ensuring the best possible views in wet conditions and making them easier to clean.
The Zeiss RF binocular comes supplied with a CR2 battery, padded bag with its own carry strap, padded carrying neck strap, objective lens covers, rain-guard (eyepiece cap) and a high-quality Zeiss lens cleaning cloth.
As with all their top end binoculars, Zeiss have a transferable, lifetime warranty on the Victory RF. In addition to that they will repair or replace these binoculars if they are damaged through normal use, without any charge.
