The Telos series from Pulsar, following the success of their Helion lineup, introduces a sustainable and upgradable design in thermal imaging technology. This series is pioneering in the market with its modular approach. Starting with the Telos XQ model, users have the flexibility to upgrade to higher versions like the XG, XP, or XL. Each upgrade in the series enhances imaging capabilities, functionality, and user experience, catering to the varied needs of both outdoor enthusiasts and professionals. The series also offers an optional laser range finding feature. To upgrade, customers simply choose their desired model, contact their local Pulsar dealer or distributor, and arrange for the device to be returned and upgraded.

About the Model (Telos XL50 LRF)

The Telos XL50 LRF model is equipped with a Lynred sensor, made in the EU. This top-tier sensor offers a high-resolution of 1024x768 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 microns, ensuring superior image clarity. It boasts an impressive NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of less than 40 millikelvins, which indicates how well the device can distinguish between tiny differences in thermal radiation in the image.

The model features a 50 mm germanium lens and offers a 2.5x base magnification, which can be increased to 8x through digital zoom. It comes with an HD AMOLED display that remains operational in temperatures as low as -25°C, and provides eight thermal image color palettes for enhanced detection, such as White Hot and Black Hot. Additionally, it includes a laser rangefinder that measures distances up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of ± 1 meter, using a 905 nm wavelength.

Designed to accommodate both right and left-handed users, the Telos XL50 LRF's housing is crafted from durable polymer. It features a user-friendly dual-ring system on the objective lens for focus and digital zoom adjustments, aligning with Pulsar's commitment to functionality and customer satisfaction.

Optical Properties

The Telos XL50 LRF model has a picture-in-picture (PiP) mode, 8x digital zoom, and 2.5x optical magnification. The maximum detection range is 2300 meters. The angular field of view of the Telos XL50 LRF model is 14°x10.5°, making the device suitable for scanning large areas. The device also features a built-in video recorder and can capture images. The XL50 LRF features 64 GB of internal memory for storing images and videos.
