Description of STEINER Nighthunter Binoculars
Steiner Nighthunter series offers three Porro prism binoculars: 8x56 model for nighttime use, 8x30 binocular for daytime use and compact Rangefinding 8x30 binoculars with amazing field of view and auto focus from 300 meters to infinity. The 8x56 model is one of the most legendary low-light binoculars made by Steiner with 70 years of tradition, using the best optical technologies on the market, able to satisfy even the most demanding users.
These incredibly durable binoculars are suitable for all kinds of enthusiast and professionals: hunters, marine, law enforcement and military personnel or just regular nature lovers, travelers, hikers etc.
Basic Features
All Nighthunters are equipped with Macrolon housing that keeps them well protected and lightweight. Even though the Porro prism binoculars tend to be more rigid to carry, Steiner specifically optimized them for comfortable use. These polycarbonate bodies are less fatiguing but still enough rugged to withstand the test of time. Rubber armouring helps to protect them against impacts and ruggedness helps with secure grip. The construction of these binoculars is tightly sealed to prevent any water to penetrate, making them waterproof and also watertight to a water depth of 5 meters. Nitrogen purged Nighthunters will also never let you down when sudden temperature changes occur and give you clear view-through in the early mornings or late evenings.
They are also equipped with Nano-Protection that imitates lotus effect and helps to repel water, oil and other moisture from the external lenses and prolongs the life of binoculars since you have to wipe them less regularly.
Optical Properties
All binoculars are incredibly bright, especially the Nighthunter 8x56 with its advanced technology that offers high transmission rate leaving competition in the dust. Incredible field of view (135m) helps you to capture more and allows quick following of the movable objects or subjects. Nighthunter 8x30 is not far behind with 130m of FOV. Nighthunters are all fully multi-coated and phase corrected to help with better brightness, amazing colors, contrast and overall resolution. This also helps to minimize any distortions such as chromatic aberration and helps with clarity of a view-through. All Nighthunters have individual focusing mechanism, so you can make adjustments for both eyes separately. Steiner’s Sports-Auto-Focus technology also allows you to make adjustments only once to still see clearly when looking towards objects from different distances. Foldable eyecups also allow users with glasses to wear them without problems.
Accessories
Nighthunters are equipped with ErgoFlex - side flaps implemented on the eyecups that block the light from the sides and also protect from the wind. They come in a padded case for storage, standard neckstrap for carrying, covers for objectives and eyecups. 8x56 model is also equipped with ClicLoc system that helps easily remove the binoculars from the hinge.

Warranty Terms and Conditions
Steiner gives 30 years of warranty for Nighthunter binoculars and covers defect of electronics for 2 years. The company repairs or replaces damaged products, without charge – exceptions are wear parts: rubber armoring, carrying straps, eyecups or lens covers are not in the scope of warranty.
