Celestron Nature DX 10x42

The 10x magnification on this Nature DX model is ideal for gaining a good level of detail at medium to long ranges and thus perfect for a wide range of outdoor glassing activities especially game viewing and many types of hunting. However, keep in mind that when compared to the 8x42 Nature DX, it does have a smaller exit pupil and slightly narrower field of view and thus these binoculars are ideally suited to use in good to fair light conditions and generally prefer wide open spaces like in the fields, mountains or coast compared to thickly forested areas for example.
A right eye diopter adjustment dial enables you to customise these to suit your particular vision and the large focus wheel is easy to reach and turn for accurate focal adjustments even whilst wearing gloves.
Whilst they have customisable twist-up eyecups, the 14mm of eye-relief these binoculars means that they are not recommended for use in combination with eyewear. If this is a necessity for you, the 17.5mm you get with the 8x42 model will probably make for a better option.
Even though longer ranges are their specialty, the fact that these have a close focus distance of only 2 meters, means that you can effectively use them to view things like butterflies on occasions.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Celestron gives Limited Lifetime Warranty for Nature DX Binoculars. The company repairs or replaces damaged products, without charge. However, it doesn’t include No Fault Policy – doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. Product exteriors - armoring and lenses are fully covered for 5 years against defects, not scratches or blemishes. Accessories such as lens covers, neckstraps and cases are fully covered for 2 years. Loss of the product or accessories is not covered. Collimation and optical alignment issues must be claimed within 30 days of purchase. You can claim the warranty with receipt as a proof of purchase.
