Viper HD 12x50 is one of the biggest models in the series but still regarded as lightweight and compact considering its optical performance. If your primary use is observation in big open spaces, or sky viewing at night, this is the right model for you! With 50 mm objective lenses, this Viper HD performs well in low-light conditions but can be relatively challenging when you need a calm hand for steady images. Luckily Vortex Optics installed a tripod mountable screw to a binocular so you can ease your viewing experience. The height of these binoculars is 6.7 inches or 17.01 cm, width 5.2 inches or 13.20 cm, and the weight is 28 ounces or 793 g making this model one of the lightest full-size binoculars, easy for carrying and to hold in hands due to rugged rubber armour coating. Fully multi-coated lenses with XR anti-reflective type helps to not only preserve most of the light but also deliver high-quality images. High density (HD) glass for low dispersion also helps with enhanced colors and impressive resolution of an image. We can’t possibly ignore high protection of this Viper HD series. Highly prized argon gas construction against water and fogging with O-ring seals for max protection and ultra hard ArmoTek lens is protecting binoculars against scratches, stains and dust and can withstand harsh weather conditions such as snow and rain.
Viper HD offers award-winning roof prism design models suitable for different applications such as hunting, bird watching, hiking, traveling, astronomy, and other law enforcement and military operations. They are rugged, durable and still enough compact and light to ease your portability. Fully multi-coated lenses can add the value to make your images even brighter and XR anti-reflective optical coatings helps to reduce inner reflections for clearer viewing. High Density (HD) glass will also minimize chromatic dispersion and significally enhance intensity of the colors. All these features offer high-quality performance and make them a great bargain. Viper HD will also never let you worry about performance in harsh weather conditions such as snow and rain. Highly prized argon gas purged construction will help you fight against the water and fogging, and combined with ultra-hard ArmorTek armor lens against dirt, dust and scratches will both give you maximal protection. Viper HD has other construction features such as smooth and grippy center focus wheel, right eye diopter for exacting focus correction, soft multi-positioned eyecups and rubber armor for secure grip of binoculars. For heavier models that are making less steady images, Viper HD offers solution with a mountable screw for a tripod. Included features consist of a tethered objective lens covers, padded curved strap for carrying around the neck and nylon case perfect for storage and protection.
