Leupold BX-2 Acadia is an impressive series of binoculars with all-round models for everyday use. Basic Features
Leupold Acadia binoculars are made out of polycarbonate material, which is extremely lightweight and aluminum on the eyepieces to help with thermal expansion, since polycarbonate is less sensitive to it. They are enclosed in grippy rubber armoring that protects them and gives you a non-slip grip so you can firmly hold them even in the wet conditions. Acadia binoculars are able to resist the harshest weather conditions due to tight seals that make them waterproof. That way water and dust are blocked out. The housing will stay free of corrosion and molding due to the Nitrogen gas filling. Acadia series by Leupold offers amazing futuristic design and very comfortable handling. They have a sleek and slender bodies, small dimensions and good weight distribution to make your handling fatigue-free.
Optical Properties
Leupold Acadia is quite amazing when it comes to field of view and close focusing distance. Wide FOV allows you to track and aim much easier and faster, which is a great feature for bird watching. Generous close focusing distance is also very convenient for quality observations of insects, flowers and other. Acadia is equipped with high-quality BaK-4 prisms and has a phase corrected prism coatings for great resolution. They are multi-coated (except the new 2017 model which is fully multi-coated) and thus help with amazing light transmission and razor-sharp images even in the dim light conditions. Acadia binoculars are equipped with central focusing mechanism that can be adjusted with a very big focusing knob for quick and soft rotation. They are grippy enough even if wearing gloves. For eyesight difference elimination, there is a grippy diopter on the right eyepiece. The eyecups are multi-positioned with a twist-up mechanism that gives you a lot of possibilities to get a proper eye-relief even if you are wearing glasses.
Accessories
The Leupold BX-2 Acadia binoculars are equipped with neoprene neckstrap for comfortable carrying around the neck. The strap also offers a quick removal of binoculars. They come in case for storage and protection. Acadia is also protected with eyecup and objective lens covers against scratches and fractures.

Warranty Terms and Conditions
Leupold offers Leupold Limited Lifetime Warranty for Acadia binoculars. It is non-transferable and given only to the original owner. To activate the warranty, it’s necessary to register the product on-line at www.leupold.com, or use the warranty card as a proof of purchase. The warranty doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. Wear items such as lens covers, straps and cases are not covered.
