About the Merger Series

The Merger series was introduced in early 2022 when Pulsar unveiled the Merger LRF XP50, marking the transition from the Accolade series. Pulsar has since expanded the series, adding models with various sensors and lenses. Previously, the LRF XQ35 was the only compact model in the series. Pulsar combined the compact form factor with the high-performing XP sensor to introduce the Merger LRF XP35. Designed for hunters and rescue teams these thermal binoculars offer high-resolution sensors and superior optical capabilities.

About the Model (Merger LRF XP35)

The Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 features a thermal sensor with a 640x480-pixel resolution and a 17-micron pixel pitch. XP35’s sensor has an NETD value of <25 mK, allowing it to detect even the smallest temperature variations. This capability is especially useful in challenging conditions such as fog or rain. This model has a detection range of 1350 meters. It integrates a dual battery system, with a 4000 mAh internal battery and a 3200 mAh APS3 external battery, allowing for seamless battery swaps.

The XP35 also includes a built-in laser rangefinder with a maximum range of 1000 meters and an accuracy of plus or minus one meter. It offers advanced features such as eight color modes, an AMOLED HD display, and three calibration modes. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, a type C USB port, and compatibility with the Stream Vision 2 app. With its good image quality, robust build, and comprehensive features, the XP35 is ideal for serious enthusiasts and professionals.

Optical Properties

The optical properties of the Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 are designed for exceptional image quality and performance. The lens’s large aperture (f/1.0) captures ample light, significantly enhancing detail visibility. A major advantage of this model is its wide field of view at the base magnification of 2x. According to Pulsar, this model offers the broadest field of view among all Pulsar thermal binoculars and is the widest available on the thermal binocular market today. The field of view is 31.3 meters wide and 23.4 meters high at 100 meters. The focusing system, with a minimum focus distance of approximately eight meters, allows for precise adjustments. These features contribute to the XP35’s outstanding performance in high-quality thermal imaging.
