Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 P Product description

  • The Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 rifle scope is a high-quality optic perfect for hunting.

  • With its 56mm objective lens, it offers great resolution and many types of light transmission for clear images even in low light conditions.

  • The reticle is available in four different variants, providing the perfect level of customization for each hunter's needs.

  • The turrets are easy to adjust and provide precise long-distance accuracy.

  • BTF turrets are available as an option.

Swarovski Z8i series

Z8i series features 6 models:

Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 scope is very similar in terms of magnification and size to the Z8i 2-16x50 scope. Swarovski probably didn't want to duplicate the X5 5-25x52 riflescope, which is their long-distance hunting scope. For hunters, low magnification, wide field of view and brightness of 56mm lens are far more significant than high magnification.

Optical Properties

The Z8i 2.3-18x56 has a 56-millimeter objective lens and a field of view of 18.6 meters at 100 meters, which is one of the widest FOV in a 56mm scope. The light transmission rate is 92%, which is close to superb and exceedingly perplexing for a riflescope with an 8x magnification.

Physical Properties

Z8i 2.3-18x56 scope is waterproof and completely fog proof. It's filled with dry nitrogen gas, which prevents external air or moisture from entering the scope and causing internal condensation. The scope is 36 centimeters long and weighs little over 700 grams, which is quite light for a 56-millimeter objective lens scope. Swarovski rail is the most popular choice for mounting the Z8i scope.

The Z8i 2.3-18x56's parallax adjustment enables you to shoot at longer distances and the turret produces a nice click at 100 meters. Parallax turret houses the battery which is very smart because this means that the compartment for the illumination unit can be smaller.

The illumination system on Z8i still has all the same settings as on the Z6i, including daytime bright illumination and low light illumination.

The Z8i scopes have improved long-distance capabilities when compared to the Z6i, and their turrets produce clearer, more distinct clicks. Extra BDC turrets may be purchased as an accessory.

The Z8i scope can be ordered with the four different reticles: 4A-I, 4A-300- I, 4W-I and BRX-I.

Fantastic

I purchased this scope for my .204 and have been very pleased with it. The 56mm objective lense is fantastic in low light, and as typical of Swarovski the glass is crystal clear. Would highly recommend this scope to anyone! Thanks.

What does BT 1X and BT 2X mean under turret type?

by Rob

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your inquiry. We sincerely apologize for the delayed reply, which is a result of the increased demand for our services.

"BT" stands for Ballistic Turret. If you choose BT 1X, you will receive this riflescope (Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 P) with only the top Ballistic Turret (for vertical adjustments). If you choose BT 2x, however, you will also receive the second Ballistic Turret for windage adjustments. To simplify: if you choose BT 1X you will receive one ballistic turret, but if you choose BT 2X you will receive two ballistic turrets.

In case you need any additional information regarding the Ballistic Turret, we invite you to watch this video by Swarowski. You can also always contact us for further assistance.

Hi Do you stock a Swarovski Z8i 2.8 -18 x56? If so how long to get to me in the UK?

Unfortunately, the product is currently not in stock. The estimated delivery time for Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 P is 1 week. The estimated shipping time to the United Kingdom is 3-5 days.

I am looking at the Swarovski 2.5 X 18 X 52 scope. How high does this scope need to be mounted on the gun to be the correct height. I see how much to tighten the scope. But not height above Barrell.

by David

The minimal BH height in order to mount this scope is approximately 16 mm. The torque value of the upper ring screws should be around 2.2 nm.

Hi I am planning to buy the Swarowski 2,3-18* 56 SR to mount it on my Blaser r8 silence. I’m quite sure that this option wont work with the Blasers original mount. Will get in conflict with the barrel. The chalange I have is the the barrel is 32 mm in dimeter all the way to the mussel, therfor the barrel countour won´t help me to get it to fit. I have tested my friends 2-16*50 , and it fit perfect, about 1,5 mm clearance between the barrel and the scope. The attched picture are of this test with the swarowski 2-16*56. My question for you are the rail equal height from the tube of the 2-16*50 as it is on the 2,3.18* 56? Or is it raised to fit with the same rail? I have read that the Blasers Swarowski sr mount is 9mm in build height. Is it correct for me to buy an MAK mount with the build height of 12 mm. If I’m thinking correct this should give me those 3 mm I need to make it fit. And still have 1,5 mm clearance between the barrel and scope. Are my thinking correct? I know that the option with ring mount is a possibility but the rail looks so much nicer. Or are there any other option that you would recommend? kind regards

by Ulf

Please note that the design on the rail is made in a way that the objective doesn't get in the way no matter the size. That is why the majority of rail mounting solutions are designed only in a single BH height. Please note that rail mounting solutions are also more reliable than ring mounts.
