An entry level wide angle scope with great features for the price, the Crossfire II in 1-4x24 is a great scope for any assault rifle. The simple reticle choice, a forgiving eye-box and a sharp image this scope will compensate for most shooters errors a beginner might make. It’s made for rugged use and incredibly tough, and it will withstand the kick of even the larges calibers. Image is clear and sharp and can be perfected for use at any range with the fast focus eyepiece. The protected turrets offer enough adjustability to make this scope awesome for any tactical shooting or short range hunting.
The tube is manufactured out of a single piece of aircraft grade aluminum for both durability and increased accuracy. The hard anodizing protects the material from corrosion and the elements, as well as against scratches. All the joints are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, water and debris to enter the scope, while nitrogen gas purging of the inside will prevent any internal fogging.
The construction of the single piece tube is rugged and will withstand both impacts as well as recoil of any caliber. The lenses are multi-coated in all lens-to-air surfaces to ensure a sharp and clear image as well as protect the lens from stains and scratches.
The Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x24 comes with an illuminated center dot of the reticle for a better low light performance. The illumination is red and can be adjusted.
The lenses are high quality and multi coated for durability and a sharp and crisp image. The lens itself is of a perfect size to let in enough light and has a forgiving eye-box for comfortable shooting in any conditions.
The turrets on this scope are capped, to offer extra protection for its intended purpose – fast, tactical shooting on the move. They are fully resettable to allow re-indexing after zeroing of the scope. The parallax is fixed at 91 meters which allows for good, all-purpose use and a good image at any range while used with the featured fast focus eyepiece.
The scope offers a rather large maximal adjustment travel of 100 MOA for both elevation and windage. The adjustment graduation is ½ MOA per click with a 30 MOA travel per rotation. It comes with two types of reticle, either with the simple and effective V-Plex or the illuminated V-Brite.
All Vortex scopes come with a VIP warranty, which means that if anything goes wrong the Company will cover your scope. Your scope will be either repaired or replaced if it becomes defective, without any costs for you. You can also read more about our warranty policy here.
The Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x24 has a 30mm central tube and need appropriate rings for mounting.
