About the Product (8x42)

The product was released in 2020, and it is the second generation of the Argos series of binoculars. The first generation had an open bridge design, but the G2 8x42 UHD has a single bridge one. The design is modern and unique, as this Athlon Argos is dressed in a strong and robust black body with orange details. The binoculars are suitable both for beginners, as well as more experienced users, for hunters, birdwatchers, and for various outdoor activities.

Optical Properties

Argos G2 8x42 UHD comes with an 8x magnification and 124 m of the field of view at 1000 m. It features roof Schmidt-Pechan prisms and long eye relief (17.3 mm), so this pair of binoculars is also suitable for those who wear glasses. It has little to no chromatic aberration, and an ESP Dielectric Coating multi-layer prism coating that reflects over 99% of the light to the user’s eyes, bringing you a clear, bright image that displays an accurate colour reproduction.
