Athlon Talos 4-16x40 SFP Product description

As all of the Talos family, this scope is mostly picked up for its incredible price to performance relation. It’s a very affordable choice for any hunter or sport shooter that is either a beginner or on a tight budget, but that doesn’t mean that it does not deliver! It has a powerful magnification, a single piece tube, adjustable parallax, precise turrets and high quality lenses, making this scope resistant, bright and precise at any level of magnification. With the right choice of reticle, it will suit the needs of any shooter or hunter and disappoint neither!

Configuration Options

Capped turrets make sure there is no undesired dialing and that the dials are protected from the environment. There is an extra side turret for parallax adjustment, which can be set from 13 meters to infinity.

The scope comes in either MIL or MOA option, depending of the reticle used. All reticle choices are set at SFP so they will maintain the perfect size and thickens at any magnification. The BDC system and subtensions are matched at 15x. Available with either the BDC 600 MOA reticle or the Mildot reticle.

Advanced Features

Talos scopes are made with the high quality and extremely resistant single-piece tubes hammer forged out of aircraft grade aluminum. The black finish of the tubes will prevent and glare as well as protect from both wear and tear as well as from the elements.

The lenses are made out of high quality glass and will ensure a sharp and crisp image at all times, as well as let in enough light to enable shooting in most conditions. These scopes are made for on field use and are made very rugged as well as highly resistant to shock and the kick of even the largest calibers. They are also well sealed and are both water and fog proof, and the interior is Nitrogen purged to prevent any internal fogging.

Mounting Of The Scope

Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Talos 4-16x40 SFP has a tube diameter of 25,4 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
