When you zero the Luchs 1 to the rifle scope can the Luchs 1 be removed and put back on the same scope without having to rezero the Luchs 1 to the scope again? Is there a need for index marks? I understand it has thre profiles. I just want to make sure before I remove the luchs1 to use it as a hand held

I just purchased a Luchs 1. Is it supposed to power on with external power connected even if the battery is down?
