About Maven

Maven is a relatively new face on the market, founded in the USA in 2013. The company manufactures various sports optics, including binoculars, riflescopes, monoculars, spotting scopes, and their accessories. As they put it, Maven broke the mold when they introduced high-performance optics into the market.

About the Product (10x42)

Just like all Maven products from this series, the C1 10x42 binoculars are coated with scratch and oil-resistant lens coating. This unique coating, applied to the lenses, will protect the surface from scratches and abrasion.

The binoculars come in a grey and orange colour combination, and Maven C1 has a modern design, which is always a plus. These optics can be used for all types of nature observations, from wildlife spotting to birdwatching, and also for hunting.

Optical Properties

Maven C1 10x42 binoculars feature Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms. The binoculars offer a bright view, which is a result of extra-low dispersion ED lenses. The image that these binoculars provide is incredibly sharp in the centre, as well as on the edges. The 10x magnification also provides a more detailed image.

The C1 10x42 provides a wide field of view of 104 m/1000 m that helps you to follow small and fast-moving objects. Focusing should also not pose a problem, as the 10x42 model has a fluid focusing wheel located in the centre and is easily accessible.

kupio sam Maven C1 10x42 preko Amazona i dobio sam ga prošli tjedan. Nažalost, prilagodba dioptrije bila je jako loša, 15 mm ulijevo od nulte pozicije izjednačilo je dvije bačve, kada se provjerava istim okom. Desna cijev je imala područje "bez akcije" prilikom okretanja gumba za fokusiranje, dok lijeva cijev radi dobro kako bi trebala - okrenite gumb za fokusiranje, a trenutna reakcija dolazi s lijeve strane.
< span>Pored ovih problema jako mi se svidjela kvaliteta slike i bez opisanih problema zadržao bih bino.
Moje pitanje: Je li moguće da provjerite C1 10x42 o kvaliteti, ako bih naručio jedan iz vaše trgovine? Znam da sigurno imate dovoljno posla, ali ne želim još jednom "sretno" kupiti Maven C1 10x42.
I, mogu li kupiti od vas bez PDV-a , pošto sam dobio važeći PDV broj u Njemačkoj?

Hi,
I bought a Maven C1 10x42 via Amazon, and got it last week. Unfortunately the diopter adjustment was way off, 15mm to the left from zero position brought the two barrels on par, when checking with the same eye. The right barrel had a "no action" area when turning the focus knob, where the left barrel works fine as kt should - turn the focus knob, and instant reaction is coming on the left side.
Beside these problems I really liked the qualitiy of the image, and without the desrcibed problems I would have kept the bino.
My question: Would it be possible that you check a C1 10x42 on quality, if I would order one from your shop? I know you sure have enough work to do, but I do not want to make another "good luck" buy on a Maven C1 10x42 again.
And, can I buy from you without VAT, as I got a valid VAT number in Germany?
