About the Model (Telos XG50 LRF)

The XG50 LRF occupies a key position within the Telos series, serving as the mid-range model flanked by the more affordable XQ35 and the premium XP50. Consistent with the entire series, the XG50 LRF upholds the commitment to customizable features and component upgradability.

This model features a high-resolution Lynred sensor, crafted in the EU, with a 640x480 resolution and a fine 12-micron pixel pitch. It is equipped with a 50 mm germanium lens and boasts an NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of less than 40 millikelvins, which indicates how well the device can distinguish between tiny differences in thermal radiation in the image. The Telos XG50 LRF offers a 3.5x base magnification with an option for up to 4x digital zoom. It includes an HD AMOLED display that functions effectively in temperatures as low as -25°C. The device provides eight selectable color palettes for thermal imaging, with White Hot and Black Hot options commonly used for enhanced detection. The focus and zoom control rings are ideally placed around the lens for easy, balanced adjustments.
