A simple, effective and rugged scope, the Midas BTR G2 is a mid-level family of scopes, which brings great value for its price. The 1-6x24 wide-angle scope is made for competition shooting and hunting alike, as it is perfect for any scenario that can occur at short to mid-range distances. The magnification range with the simple yet detailed, illuminated reticle enables the shooter to use it as a red dot type scope or as a great accessory for fast and accurate shot placement at medium ranges as well.
The scope is greatly built and will withstand the recoil of any caliber as well as the influence of the elements and mechanical wear, so no need to be too careful with this one. It also comes with great features rarely available at this price level, and it will impress any user in any situation, let that be a three gun competition or a bush hunting expedition.
The turrets are capped, to keep the protected and prevent any movement during transport. The click value is 0.5 MOA for the best tuning options at shorter ranges, while the maximum elevation and windage travel is quite large at 150 MOA of total travel. The parallax is fixed.
This scope features the illuminated ATSR 16 reticle, which is set at SFP to retain the ideal size thought the magnification range. The reticle has both elevation and windage subtensions, which are true at the maximum, 6x magnification and allow fast and accurate shot placements at longer ranges as well.
The Midas BTR G2 scopes have heat treated single-piece tubes, machined out of aircraft grade aluminum for extreme hardness and resistance. It is protected with a matte, anti-glare finish for protection from scratches and the elements.
The lenses are made of HD glass for high contrast and a sharp image, multi-coated for a higher light transmission and removal of light reflection. The lenses are also coated with the advanced XPL coating to protect the lenses from scratches, dirt and stains. The scopes are both water and fog proof, as well as highly resilient against recoil and shock, making them perfect for use with any gun caliber. The interior is also Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.
The scopes feature large lenses and advanced coatings to let in as much light as possible and offer the best brightness, and with it, the sharpest image even at the highest magnifications.
Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Midas BTR 1-6x24 SFP has a tube diameter of 30 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
